Kaz USA Inc. Recall of Stinger BK Series of BK110V3, BK310V3, and BK510V3, Canada Models BK-311CV2 and BK-310CV1 Insect Zappers.

Why is this product being recalled?

Examinations of the Insect Zapper products showed fractures in the screw bosses of the “kill grid”.  These fractures create the possibility that the grid could drop or separate from the unit, especially if the screw is over-torqued. The grid drop or separation sets up a remote possibility whereby the consumer could touch the power source.  The consumer may misperceive the fractured or damaged product to be in apparent working condition since the bulb would still be illuminated even though the grid would have separated.
